Oh joy of joys, Benefit have taken the plunge and branched out into skincare with their first ocean-inspired skincare range: b.right Radiant Skincare.
And I am in love with it all...
With a rather toned down packaging choice for the usually cutesy-kitsch and glitteringly glam brand than usual, the b.right Radiant Skincare range looks like it’s taking things to a whole new, more mature and serious level.
All wrapped up in pale blue or glass apothecary-style bottles and jars with cork-design lids, the range includes everything you could ever need for a radiant complexion. Luckily, it still retains Benefit's classic witty charm for the names on all its ‘ye olde-type-font’ labelling.
Here's what you can get your hands on from April 16th:
Foamingly Clean Facial Wash, £16.50
The Foamingly Clean Facial Wash contains amino acids and plant derivates to effectively cleanse the skin and remove makeup and impurities with a soft and gentle lather.
Refined Finish Facial Polish, £17.50
Containing natural clay and seaweed extract, Refined Finish Facial Polish is rich in minerals, nutrients and sugars to deeply clean and purify the skin. Glycolic acid helps smooth away imperfections, minimise pores and reveal skin’s natural radiance.
Triple Performance Facial Emulsion, £19.50
The Triple Performance Facial Emulsion contains Benefit’s exclusive tri-radiance complex to help develop the skin’s reserves of water. Not only that, the oil-free and light-weight formula has SPF15 PA++ to protect the skin against sun damage with a broad spectrum of UVA and UVB filters. Plant extracts, hyluronic acid and vitamin E provide nourishing antioxidant protection and hydration.
Total Moisture Facial Cream, £26.50
For concentrated, immediate and long-term hydration this is the one to invest in. 100 per cent of participants in consumer testing said they felt their skin to be immediately and intensely quenched. It also contains the tri-radiance complex to help develop the skin’s reserve of water and reinforce skin’s moisture barrier. Natural plant based squalene and mango butter emollients provide moisture and give you a radiantly fresh complexion.
It’s Potent Eye Cream, £23.50
This revolutionary moisturising formula soothes, restores and protects to brighten the entire eye area. Containing burnet, an ancient Chinese remedy to help soothe the skin along with a blend of hydrating botanical and apple extracts. Loquat extract helps to protect the skin from free radicals and premature ageing while a peptide complex helps restore elasticity and skin’s firmness.
We will have to wait with baited breathe for rest of the range to arrive on UK shores on May 21st.
Ultra Radiance Facial Re-Hydrating Mist, £19.50
To instantly enhance radiance the Ultra Radiance Facial Re-Hydrating Mist also contains Benefit’s tri-radiance complex and relaxes and soothes skin with magnesium PCA and white and blue lotus flower extracts to help combat stress. With added sodium hyaluronate to really boost skin’s hydration.
Moisture Prep Toning Lotion, £23.50
To smooth, revitalise and clarify, Moisture Prep contains vitamin E, natural oat and botanical extracts known to purify and smooth the skin to reduce fine lines. The specialised formula contains moisturising hyloronic acid and a blend of aloe leaf and yeast extract.
Remove It Makeup Remover, £16.50
This no-rinse formula is perfect for contact lens wearers and won’t sting or irritate eyes. It removes even waterproof mascara with ease and hydrates the delicate eye area, all while leaving the skin clean, soft and refreshed.
